September 8, 2013
10:00: All Grace Worship Service in Grace Hall
11:00 – 12-15: Service projects with teachers, classmates and adults
12:15: Lunch – Sandwiches will be provided. Participants are asked to bring a salad or dessert to share.

Please plan to join this exciting event. We will be celebrating the start of a new Sunday School year while we join thousands of other Lutheran congregations in celebration of the 25th anniversary of The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

As we all join together in service, we will be able to provide support for a number of the ministries here at Grace as well as ministry partners in our community. The projects are:

  • Three year olds, Pre-K, and Kindergarten:  Placemats for Ardent Folk and Table of Grace
  • First and second grades:  Cards for members of Grace who are shut in Third and fourth grades: Yarn project to assist the Prayer Shawl Ministry
  • Fifth and sixth grades:  Birthday bags for NESAP Confirmation classes:  Laundry Soap and Pet food bags for Shepherd’s Staff
  • Legacy (High School):  Blankets for the Linus Project
  • Adults:  Outside projects – Clean up on the grounds of church and Shepherd’s Staff; planting ground cover on church property; cleaning up the LFOG playground area
  • Inside projects – preparing boxes for Seafarer’s gifts (filled by WELCA) and writing cards to military service personnel.

With your help, we can truly make a difference by supporting these many ministries that are at work in our community year round!!

Join us next Sunday for Rally Day!
