Sunday Morning Classes
9:00 Adult Class
A class for folks who like to study the Bible and other related topics. Discussion is led by Mike Shipley.
Meets in the Library.
10:15 Education Hour
A class for married couples and/or parents of growing families. Participants support one another and receive new insights! Discussion is led by Tiffany and David Cox.
Meets weekly in the Theater.
10:15 Discussion of Weekly Scripture Readings
A class for adults of all ages who enjoy learning more about Scripture. Lively discussion is led by Pastor Kevin.
The class meets weekly in the Fellowship Hall.
New Member Classes
During Sunday mornings in the spring, Pastor Kevin will lead conversation about major teachings of Lutheranism and local ministries and traditions here at Grace.

Short-term Sunday Morning Classes
Throughout the year, a variety of short-term classes will be offered to adults during the 10:15 Education Hour. Please watch the weekly announcements for details about the following classes:
“Caring for Loved Ones with Cancer and Other Illnesses” – to be led by Stephen Ministers
“Writing into the Spirit” – to be led by Sharon Glass
“EarthBound: Created + Called to Care for Creation” – -to be led by Laura Heller from February 15 – March 22.
Sunday Morning Adult Forums
This year, all adults are invited to join in three forums on topics that are important in our life as God’s people in the world.
October 26 – “Responding to Homelessness in Our Community”
February 15 – “Responding to Violence and Human Trafficking”
April 19 – “Christian Stewardship of the Environment”
Week Day Opportunities
Men’s Bible Study at Johansson’s
First and third Wednesdays each month at 7:00 p.m. A number of the men arrive around 6:00 to eat dinner together. Bible Study is led by Pastor Kevin.
Friday Morning Men’s Bible Study at Bob Evans
Men meet together at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast, fellowship and Bible Study. The studies are lay led.
Young Adult Gathering and Faith Discussion
Young adults meet together at Johansson’s on the second and fourth Wednesdays from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Thursday Evening Book Club
At various times during the year, women join in reading and discussion of books on a wide variety of topics. The book club meets on the second and fourth Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Lower Gathering Space.

From 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary
These quarterly gatherings provide a time apart from the noise and routine of life to listen for God’s voice. A variety of spiritual disciplines are offered each time. Participants are welcome to sit quietly in the sanctuary for prayer and reflection. One may also walk the labyrinth in Grace Hall.
Food & Faith
A small group of adults join together in a gracious meal prepared by some of the people in the group using local and seasonal foods. Other members of the group prepare the tables and dining space. Others clean up after the meal. Eating is accompanied by prayer, scripture, and discussion as brothers and sisters in Christ enjoy time together and give thanks for the gifts of the harvest.
Faith Talk for Women
This is a new opportunity for women to meet on fifth Wednesdays at Johansson’s from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. for dinner and conversation led by Pastor Martha.
The first gathering is October 29, 2014.

Annual Trip to Washington National Cathedral

Join us for the Cathedral Crossroads Program. This is an inspiring evening of prayer and renewal as we step away from the demands of daily life. Transportation leaves Grace at 2:00 p.m.
