In this time of anticipated joy, many of us struggle with the pain of loss, depression, and loneliness. We often don’t know where to turn and do not want to be swept up in the overwhelming wave of commercial holiday festivities or even family drama. There is always a place to go where there will be no judgment, no push to put on the holiday sweater, or to have to worry about what someone might think about those who cannot get into the “spirit of the season.”
Please join us in the Sanctuary for an evening of contemplative music, scripture, and a time of healing. You are welcome at the Longest Night Meditation and Remembrance event being held on December 21, 2018 at 7 p.m. As part of this event, we welcome you to bring your heavy burden and leave it with us. Come with your troubles and light a candle to remember that there is Hope in the world, that the days will now be getting longer, and the Light of the World will be upon us.
