HUGE thank you to everyone who supported our Rise Against Hunger Meal Packing Event on Saturday, March 15th. Thank you to the more than 70 volunteers who packed, weighed and sealed meal bags, in addition to the runners, the folks packing the sealed meals into boxes, the folks who replenished supplies as needed, and everyone who helped with set up and clean up. It was truly an intergenerational event, with volunteers ranging in age from Preschoolers to Senior Citizens who packed a total of 15,150 meals.
Thank you also to everyone who donated to cover the cost of meals. Through your generosity, we raised enough to pay for all of the meals!
