Around the Corner is a work of fiction based on the West Baltimore community where we at Grace have volunteered for the last ten years at the Bon Secours Urban Farm. Many of you have worked on the Farm, harvested vegetables, and made CSA deliveries. Grace’s first group went to West Baltimore in the summer of 2017 to put up a hoop house. Now the Bon Secours Urban Farm is thriving and feeding close to one hundred families a week. The experience of meeting the people in the neighborhood there and witnessing the work they do has profoundly impacted me and my life as a Christian. This book is meant to honor and pay tribute to the people who across three centuries have worked tirelessly in that community to bring help and health to their neighbors.”
